I caught a live stream of Brett Kavanaugh testifying to the Senate last Thursday. The best bits were when they called a break but the cameras kept rolling. Everyone got out their phones, journalists had chats in the corridor. Nobody seemed to realise that these mundane moments were being broadcast to the world.
